Since graduating from CSU Long Beach with a BA in fine art, Jeff Dulla began to paint the landscape, not from observation, but from his imagination. He calls these creations his “mindscapes.”He accesses a flow state of mind with the help of groovy, psychedelic beats, so the flick of the brush can simulate the ebb and flow of the music. One paint stroke turns into the next and the image begins to take shape. He does not start a painting with the intention of creating something specific, instead it is his mind manifesting itself on the canvas through a fractal process.
