I created this piece in October as part of a larger series, in which I am utilizing a collage-like method to compose ambiguous scenes. This painting in particular is structured similarly to a Morandi still life, though it suggests an outdoor setting. The arrangement of objects does not convey a specific message, but it does allude the mysterious power of these everyday items.

Bradley Boboc is a self-taught visual artist from Los Angeles. Currently residing in Brooklyn, Bradley’s practice centers upon expanding on the concept of the still life. Drawing from various sources such as Google street view, household objects, and medieval iconography, his paintings depict improbable and surreal groupings.
